Byron Bay, AU
Rocking a Hawaiian, short sleeve button-up, or as his charity likes to call them, “Party Shirt”, Danny Salfield can probably be seen ripping The Pass, on some sort of retro twin fin gear. Either that or he's cruising around town arranging interviews for his weekly two hour radio show on Bay FM, “The Sandpit”.
Danny is a local Ballina kid who relocated to Byron some time ago and has built himself as an integral part of the community.
He hosts a local radio show that boasts a wide variety of guests. From scientists, musicians, pro surfers or business owners...the list goes on.
The show carries it’s weight having local discussions about local issues as well as hosting new talent and ideas. When we have a new single in the works here at B.S.T.S, we can take it over to Danny for a little exclusive debut play. He’s always keen to hear what people are working on and where the listeners can find more.
If you see this cheery, groomed chap floating around town, say hi and ask about his “Party Shirt” charity. “The Sandpit” is on every Wednesday eve from 5-7pm on Bay FM. If you miss an episode or you want to hear one again you can go to “The Sandpit” on Soundcloud, where he uploads every weeks episode.
